I just wanted to post some of my findings on the UniFi 5G backup unit.  I bought the $99 unit and got a one year data and sim card for $156.  The $13 per month gives me unlimited data - not speedy for me in my location but is working.  You just plug the 5G Backup anywhere on any Unifi switch.   I would not use if you are trying to watch videos all the time but for listening to my Klove.com, looking up parts or checking out my Unifi Protect system remotely it is working fine for me.
