SW MN | So looking at the projected released maps, are the large payments based solely on price versus yield?
I really haven't paid attention to how this formula works, other than it is Olympic average (toss high and low) and then its based on yield x price x 85%.
Because we have been told the last 2 years of crops have been record high yields one after the other, but it appears that the largest payments are highly concentrated on the heart of the corn growing regions of the country.
Someone please explain it to me like I am a 12 year old.
Thanks! | |
