If the 160 and/or 180 with PivotBio yields the same as the 200 applied N, you still really know nothing. There are two possibilities:
1. The PivotBio supplied 20-40 lbs of N
OR
2. The optimal N rate that year was equal or less than 160/180 lbs/ac and the PivotBio may or may not have added N to the system
With the treatments you list, you have no way of knowing if its option 1 or option 2. And both are possible.
You say the question you want to answer is if you can reduce N by 40 lbs and get the same or better yield with PivotBio. The question you are completely ignoring is, can I reduce N by 40 lbs and get the same yield.
Rather it is in-furrow or seed applied isn't relevant to this point.
