2nd.. or 3rd day of sustained 50 mph winds devastating barely emerged.. not emerged.. HRW Wheat fields in Kansas.

Visibility in the truck was down to a quarter mile in spots.. vans poking along at 40 mph so as to not tip.. UGLY conditions.

Yes.. probably more acres planted..

Not gonna matter as 5% or more is already gone.. and even if it starts raining.. has to emerge and root in.. maybe 30 bu wheat if it emerged by February..?

Basically it's gonna be worse than last year..

Oh and winterkill conditions coming next week.. to polish off the barely emerged.. shallow drilled stuff.
