Problem using a level is when you stop things change from when the plow was moving. We use to have someone walk along side while the plow was operating & eyeball for levelness. As tractors got larger & plowing speeds increase someone would drive alongside & watch. Best to stay about 20' away to get a better perspective. Have been doing it this way since the late '50s.
