putting it on 7140. spaced on 40" rows with duals , duals are in tight ,they are not on 40"

can they be set onland ?

not looking for a perfect job. going to disc it 2x after .

im going to try it out before i have to buy it , belongs to a neighbor .

7140 should pull it easy .
If it is a semi mounted plow? You will need to take the right dual off. On land/trailer type plow? You can probably leave it on. I have seen guys run an on land plow with the right dual hovering over the open furrow and still plowing ok. Your 7140 will easily handle it. If you have never ran one before? It will be a learning curve. But? There are plenty on videos you can watch. the fellow you are borrowing it from can probably give you some good pointers to get you started. Be careful. Plowing can become addictive... Some folks hate it. Some, like me? Really enjoy it. Something about the dark shiny black dirt and the fresh plowed smell. I like it. Good Luck
