Subject: RE: Ideal size tractor/skidsteer?

Western Oregon
I had a 1050 JD 4x4 with loader. I built a fairly large pond, dug out for a house foundation. Leveled a barn site, cut hay with a 3pt disc mower, baled with a 430 IH pto baler. Plowed up a long driveway, yes with a 2 bottom plow. Plowed and planted 30 acres, fed and bedded with round bales of grass straw. Had a set of forks for the loader to move logs, lumber, build barn. I found a used 3pt driveway maintainer to do my own and had a good side business doing it for others, they would see mine and ask. Best utility tractor I ever owned. Small enough but very capable....James
