NW Iowa | The later models did use an electric pump. I made the conversion to electric on my 1966 105 and was never sorry I did it. If the electric pump gives up the ghost it is right there under the tank where you can switch it out super easy standing on the ground. If you are restoring to original maybe you could look in JD Parts on the net to get an idea of what the electric setup looked like so you could bend the lines and make brackets that look factory. Or maybe you can get lucky and find an old fencerow 55 that is already electric to take parts off. Deere made a little aluminum cap to fit over the fuel pump hole in the engine block. | |
