SW Ohio | Go into a walmart or any big box store and look up. You will see how bar joist building are laid out. Bar joist are meant to be supported on each end ONLY. And spacing is dependent on purlin and decking strength, 25' is way too far apart, use smaller bar joist and closer together. ALso bar joist are mostly used on flat roofs, 4/12 would be better with trusses that have a bottom chord. | |
