Our policy is to leave the tarp loose while dumping. One processor has a double pit, dumps both hoppers at the same time, and will try to suck the tarp. However the main reason to set the habit as we have both hoppers and dump trailers, and I have seen a fair number of problems with a tightly tarped dump trailer when the entire door is opened.
