Subject: RE: Heavy equipment detailing service

Would be nice if somebody offered this service. Varying packages perhaps ?

Complete clean up from straight out of field = most expensive.

Blowing off with high CFM air compressor

Washing service

Waxing service.

Different levels of service offered might = more customers.

Some years would be worse than others for sure. This year was pretty easy clean up as there was zero rain days and lots of windy days which kept combine pretty clean in season. Years with lots of mud and being caught in the rain when machine is really dirty would be the worst.

Probably would be willing to pay someone $500-$800. I would probably not do one for anyone else for any amount of money. Its taken the top position of the worst job on the farm since the zero turn arrived. (Mowing used to be the worst job)

I spent probably the equivalent of at least 3.5 days cleaning up the corn head, platform , header cart and combine.

I'm losing a little of the shine on the 34 year old combine but it is fairly clean.

End of Harvest

Blown off with leaf blower  air compressor and ready to be washed.

Initial wash with soapy water and brush scrubbing.

After 2X foam cannon cleaning with chemical guys product.

Rinse off still wet.

Dried off ready for storage.
