| When I was young and ambitious we did that ourselves. I bought a new tractor and everyone thought the 12year old one was new as it looked better. I used to touch up the paint, repaint the exhaust beside clean and redo insulation.
Dad always got a premium for his trades as they were super clean. Of course Dad is a very fussy operator.
It would pay especially if one has hired help. Even if just the kids or Grandkids. I have seen Grandpa trade tractors because the Grandkids thought what he had was junk. What he traded for was no better but it was clean and looked nice. | |
