I have a 4030 that has 5000 acres on and will get new blades this spring and has been used 99% no-till. It works fine conventional for me if that's what you want to use it for. As far as price of blades, they are high, but I can get all new blades/discs and scrapers for less than $5K. Getting your seeding rate set right can be a challenge with all the chain/sprocket combinations they have. It's not the perfect no-till seeder, but you're looking at 2-3 times the money for a single disk opener that all the experts say you have to have.
