yup Jim, did not try your wheel on the drill. Do have a couple rows of Dawns on the planter. First of all, I really liked the performance of the thompson. Even though I didn't try your wheel, I guess I used the combination of the knowledge of the dawns I have and the similar heavy design of the martins I did try to make my decision. I will say that no matter the aftermarket wheel, just get the old casts off there because we can all agree that they definately do not perform well.

I also agree with the press/firming wheels. I ran 4 V-8's last year and ordered the rest today. Also putting on Phil's bonilla seed flaps as they look like a good design. Narrow guage wheels are also a good improvement.
