I had a couple 340 cvts and i use them for mainly tillage work. I did not like them for that, it seem to me the cvt eats hp and i did not like when pulling hard it would kick transmission into neutral, just bout flipped 1000 bu grain cart on steep slope. I traded for 400 powershift and i like it a lot better. So i guess thats why they make both.
