NW Mississippi | Looking for an implement to do deep tillage that can run on corn soybean and cotton ground after one trip with a disc. We farm silt loam soil and here we need to break up old disc tillage pans/and or compaction from time to time especially if cotton is to be planted (don't want j hook tap roots and need to get root down to moisture). Instead of running subsoilers after the disc then following with field cultivator I want something that will basically finish mulching up corn stalks, perform deep tillage, and do at least a decent job smoothing and leveling on the back.
What are some brands/widths than an 8430 could handle well. David. | |
