Need to keep the kill button pulled out. Then it won’t start.

X2. A 4640 uses a Bosch "A" inline pump. Nothing electric on those pumps.
Pull the kill knob, and crank away.
On our 4640, we put a 12 volt group 31 stud type battery on each side in the original battery boxes. Ran a new positive cable from each battery to the starter. And a new negative cable from each battery to the chassis.
Cranks over and starts in cold weather like a boss.
