Livestock guys also got dealt a HUGE turd sandwich by Covid and the govt forced shutdowns.
This one we can only half blame on the government. It was corporate greed! The government gave them a metaphoric money machine and no oversight.
All the plants ran all the time at the expense of worker health. Trump himself signed an executive order keeping them open and exempt from all health procedures.
