Subject: Re: fair or wildcat snowblowers...

Portland, ND
I worked at an implement dealership in North Dakota in 96-97 and we sold a ton of blowers, and several of each of the Fair and Wildcats. The old Fair brochure had pictures of it digging a field drain, and someone throwing cement blocks into it.

One of the fair blowers that we sold went to an older fellow who was a idiot, and couldn't get it to work. He said it kept shearing bolts. We hauled it back to the dealership with his 7250, and quickly realized that he was only putting one of two shearbolts in. The service manager told me to go try it out, so i went out into the lot and started blowing on the piles that had been pushed up and were hard as concrete. I had the tractor in 1R WOT, and the blower would just chew thru it. The tractor would be spinning all the tires, but the blower would work right into it. I was impressed!! They don't look as pretty as the wildcats, but they sure work.
