Well, your troubles make for a great story and a few laughs, not that does you any good. And one is reminded of the old saws, like "whenever it rains it pours" or the various" versions of Murphy's Law. Like "anything that can go wrong will go wrong at the worst possible moment."
No one was hurt, except maybe a little pride. Telling your insurance man this story should be good too.
