| It is a location thing as much as anything. A lot more spoilage will come from the bottom than the top or ends no matter whether tight or spaced. Main thing for me is a well drained storage area and rows running North to South so the rows get sunlight on both sides to help dry out whatever moisture there is.
I do think either tightly pushed together or spaced apart is much better than loosely touching which I see quiet often. | |
