Looking to add a single security camera for the main driveway in, that I can go to my phone to access when alerted.
Looking for a wifi camera, possibly PTZ to be able to open and then view the dryer panel outside, and another one inside to view my VFD's . These would be used by me only when drying.
The acreage is not mine, but a great neighbor. He has agreed to let me bounce his wifi over to my place to run the cameras in trade for hay / pasture ground I have. There is fiber optic in the road, so service is good. I just don't need a $90/month access charge to get a drop put in.
Looking at options, there are so many out there for confusion. And changing all the time. I have direct line of sight from my machine shed gable end to his house. Also from the top of my largest bin. Looks like about 500'.
Do I need a complete bridge? like this:

Once i have a bridge or extender at the shed, I assume a single outside wifi extender or access point on the side of the shed would be close enough and all most direct LOS to the dryer shed?
Looking for a balance from price, hacking/security, reliability, and simplicity.
Edit: if it's hard to read, the long distance is roughly 500' from the house to the machine shed.
