Exactly. That's not what I think of as a box blade, but it will work great for the proposed use. Make one longer if you want it to help take out the dips and humps, or shorter if you want to be able to control where it cuts and dumps more. Pull type are great for an old tractor, but a skid steer needs it mounted on the front, even if just because it's easier to hook up.
