I guess the thing that gets to me a little is everyone saying rather spiteful things about the owners of the company.  If the company has gone bankrupt it stands to reason that the owners have lost a lot more then the employees.   I know nothing about this company, but I can certainly see how it is possible that they were trying very hard to keep going and not lay people off, and finally someone pulled the plug on them, possibly after they thought they were going to make it.   It may be management's fault that the company went broke, but I'm sure it was not their decision to have a particular fuel card refused on a particular day.  If you've tried your best and there's no money left and a lender pulls the plug, there's nothing management can do about it at that point....it's just done.  Bankruptcy is never a good thing, I'm sure.  If somehow the company can restructure and continue operations, though, it will keep the jobs in the economy.
