Subject: RE: Anyone running a Claas Tractor?

They should have an axion that would be considered large and capable of going down 30 rows. Should be able to get a row crop tires on a xerion too. I've seen pictures of a xerion with rowcrop triples.

Not sure about dealer support. As far as I know there is nobody within hundreds of miles of me that will sell/support one.

We have claas combines and have toured the factory in Germany for the combines. The tractors are made in France, they got into that when renault had money trouble and claas bought them. The Xerion is a claas german design from the ground up and is made at the same plant as the combines. Xerion is a crab steer 4wd so I think it would be a nice planter tractor. The way it looks to me is the mfwd tractors they sell are nothing special, not really sure what you'd gain there vs. a fendt deere or case but the xerion would be something unique. They also make bi-directional xerions. If I had a dealer that would support it I'd strongly look at a xerion.
