Subject: Re: MX 215 vs. NH T8010

I bought a T8030 this summer. Wasn't dissappointed in the MX tractors but I don't want to tell the whole story of why I bought a blue tractor. What I can tell you is that we are pleased with the NH tractor we put 200 hrs on it this fall on the cart, J&M 875. It preformed well, the super steer is really nice. The cabs are very similiar, except the fwd rev control is on the RH console, where throttle is on MX. A separate lever on the NH for the throttle. Engine appears the same expect there is no drop box behind it, wheel base same, rearend same, can have dealer installed high flow hyd. In summary if you like the MX tractors you'll like the NH T 8010. Both tractors built in same factory I think.

As far as resale, after 20 yrs isn't the condition and hrs as important as make? I keep tractors a long time as well, traded a 1984, case 2594 for the T8030. I received what I feel is a fair value for the 2594, not trying to blow my own horn, but the paint was good, no leaks or drip, and had 80% tires 18.4 42, everything worked in the cab, A/C was converted to 134. I feel these kind of stuff means as much as make of tractor????????
