Higginsville, MO
Gleaner. Burns less fuel, harvest the same amount as a Deere, easier to service, cheaper buy probably 100k, less moving parts, better grain quality, lower loss, less compaction by being a lighter weight combine. There was a die hard Deere guy demo a Gleaner where my mechanic is and said he didn't know why he didn't switch a long time ago. Gleaners not perfect but niether is any of the competition. The repair cost are outrageous when you start working on other brands to fix some of the main comparable components. Mechanic had a former customer switch to Case just because of not having a dealer closer, injested something and got a 50k repair for new cage and rotor. Those parts on a Gleaner would of been half that if not less at the point in time before the run up in prices.
