Ontario | We run 2 R4038 with Exact Apply and injection. We like the Exact Apply because we are custon applicators. Really like it for 28% on wheat. We don't use the pulsing for that but instead use the A - B feature. So we have a smaller streamer in A. "10" and a bigger streamer in B "15" . This lets us put rates on from 15gals to 55 gals/ac. The Exact Apply will switch between A and B or both on depending o rate and speed. So we like that.
For normal spraying we run an 08 nozzle that will give us C, VC, & XC droplets ot even medium if we run pressure high enough. All this with one nozzle.
Injection we use for Roud up primarily. We can adjust the rate for the size of weed in the field. WE also run a small pump that we use for a PGR in wheat. We can turn on and off depending what the customer wants. Also find it handy to have 24D in the fall to turn off and on when doing a Roundup burndown.
We run about 600 ton of 28% through each of our machines per year. No issues. We also haven't rinsed out each day with our system. Havent had many issues. I wouldn't be scared of Exact Apply. Our older sprayer of the 2 is on its 5th season. | |
