| I spray commercial and farm at night.
Just went from a 4830 to a R4038.
Both have 100’ boom and 1000 gal tank.
You will think you died and have made it to heaven if you cover a lot of acres. I really enjoy the boom height, 4240 monitor (had 2630 that was good too), swiveling seat, and many other things about the R series sprayer. 410R’s are even nicer yet.
We opted not to get exact apply after talking to our dealer because he explained it required daily cleaning and came with its own cleaning kit to use periodically. Personally I felt 9 section shut offs on 100’ was more then plenty good enough. I demoed a exact apply machine and it ran out when set at exactly 20 gal also so I can’t believe it’s as great as they say. | |
