Subject: Re: Engine heater for snowblower tractor

Eastern Ont
Our experience here if you need to get a tractor going quick get one of the circulating/tank heaters we have 1500 watt cirulating heaters on the tractors usually within a half hour there is enough heat in the head to get things going
We found the frost plug heaters had to be on dam near all night to warm up the coolant on -30C nights
The circulating ones about 2 hours
Just our experience
The other thing is that if and when they quit It is a lot easier to undo 2 hose clamps and pull out the heater and put in a new one
It never quits on a warm day
