NW IA | I'm considering it, but for the fact that once you hook something to the back of a gasser, the fuel mileage plummits. I went from a gasser to a diesel. Round town I'm getting the same mileage, around 16.5 mpg for an F350 Crew, long box, 4x4, as my old F250 ext. cab 4x4 gasser, but when I hook 13,000# to the diesel, my mileage goes down to 12 or 13 mpg whereas the gasser went to 8 or 9 mpg. Soooo, at the time it made sense. With the repair bills I've had lately, and the fact I don't tow long distances any longer, if the new Ford diesel is junk, it will be a gasser for me again. | |
