NE South Dakota Clark, SD
The problem is that the formulas very greatly from university to university.

Recommended P2O5 and K2O recs per Bu of corn for example from several high yield potential neighboring states.
Iowa P2O5 0.32 K2O 0.22 Pounds P2O5- 64 K2O- 44 for 200 Bu corn
Illinois P2O5 0.37 K2O 0.24 Pounds P2O5- 74 K2O- 48 for 200 Bu corn
MI, IN, OH P2O5 0.35 K2O 0.28 Pounds P2O5- 70 K2O- 56 for 200 Bu corn
MN P2O5 0.28 K2O 0.19 Pounds P2O5- 56 K2O- 38 for 200 Bu corn

The only way to do anything but a WAG is to soil sample. Option B is apply plenty to make sure you don't run short, but that kind of kills the basis of Precision Agriculture.
