ND | I have a Class 8 & by myself with 2 semi & a cart but like Chris said its alot of other things that make it go & my wet bin & dryer can only do so much so its a wait. I did not need a Class 8 but the local farmer auction showed me it was far cheaper than a Class 5 which I had but wanted a Class 6, still run a 8r head but no hiring a cart operator has been nice with the 440 bu grain tank, can make a round or almost depending on the corn yr. 35' flex head is a nice deal vs the old 25'. When I bought the combine it was cheaper than a Class 6 by 50K. The Class 8's are cheaper than lessor Classes because the larger farmer wants New or almost New. | |
