I was 9 when Dad bought a new IH self propelled swather. After enough was down to keep him busy stacking loose hay, I ran the swather more than he did. I also the rake if needed and the power sweep. I didn't start stacking myself until I was about 14 with a Super M. Very stable tractor and easy to steer, but a lot of clutching with no live PTO.
Another generation started farming today.
