Subject: RE: Case IH 200 vs 255 field cultivator

SE North Dakota
We have had tigermates forever and then went to the red version and nothing really changed until went from the 200 to the 255. Anyone that says they are the same hasn’t been around one. We used to have a heck of a time with the folding of the outer wing with the blue tiger mates all the way to the last 200. Then they finally fixed it on the 255 and it’s a totally redesigned folding hinge. Hasn’t had an issue yet. The shanks are thicker and spring tower has bigger pivot bushings. The shanks are configured differently for better flow and speed. Got rid of them stupid depth cranks on every wing. Went to single point depth. Been good cultivators.
