| When I bought the combine, we bought a 3408 with it due to availability, that thing was terrible. It needed roll knives, I’ll give it that but it constantly plugged up at the back of the deck plates, traded it for this 2608, put new knives and deck plates on it, worked well but still seem to get butt shelling towards the end of season. The 4412 is also 1.5x the money of the c2212, so if I lose my ass on trade in, I saved it on the purchase. One neighbor has been through 3 generations of harvestec heads and plans on sticking with them. But there’s gotta be a reason it’s $70k cheaper than the red one. | |
