No it's not, not even close to 3400s. 4412 is a good head. Just make sure you run it at correct speed, but you did that with 2608 so you'll be good.
We went from 2608 to 4412 last year and it's a very good upgrade.
It might be a good head if they'd quit using the stupid tapered deck plates. Who makes deck plates that are tapered down. Worst idea ever.
