| Found a TE3310 online. https://www.vermeer.com/na/tedders/te3310
It says it’s 9.8’ wide. So you will be overwidth. 400 miles, different state. I would do some checking. Also it’s @10’ tall. (3310) if bumper pull deck over tires. You could be over 12’. Make sure there are no low bridges, wires, county fair signs over the route you are taking. It should be marked well if under 14’. But…. A bit of watching going will calm you returning. I was hint over 13’. Hit summer day. Powerline looked low. I backed up, drove as near the post as I could.
I would drive it. But I like to drive.
It’s 2 days minimum. So you go Sat. Pick it up, park at hotel. Sunday first hint of sunshine you drive. Figure +7 hours. If everything perfect. $150 hotel, meals. (If you pack a decent cooler, otherwise +$200. Not counting fuel, wear…your time.
Hauled $1500? Let’s figure $200 hotel, food. Car last I did that was $.55 a mile. Pickup, trailer? Saw someone suggested $1. Sounds fair. Then your time +16 driving hours. (Assuming most drive bit slower with trailer)
1500-200-800= $500. So you are “paying yourself” over $30 a hour.
But if you have breakdowns, run into Officer who wants to be pita. (You are over 102” by visually noticeable amount). Things can get expensive. Check the laws (but not on your phone) then decide.
