Have put several head gaskets on my 8650. It doesn’t get used much mostly packing silage and hauling some manure. It has set outside since last December went out to start it last week and the head gasket blew out again. It is always the back cylinder. Checked things to make sure everything is flat and Putin new bolts and torque them to specs. Any thoughts on this. Thanks
You're not alone. From my understanding, the problem is that the engine was used as a structural member on the 40/50 series 4WD's, so any torsional stress is absorbed by the engine, which ultimately causes head gasket failure. Broken crankshafts are another common failure with the 619.
