Ed, I currently use centerpoint from redwing. It keeps track of more than I care to at this point. It also cost a bunch for annual support and latest updates, so I'm looking at something a bit simpler. I know I probably do not need the latest upgrade each year but if you get to far behind it cost more when you do upgrade. What is the difference between quicken and quickbooks? I use turbotax for my taxes and it handles my depreciation mostly okay. I have a custom report in my centerpoint that dovetails with the schedule f. Do either the quicken or quickbooks have a report that is like a sch. f or can one be made within the program? I no longer try to keep track of fuel by field etc. as it did not realy workout in real world use like you. I mostly use it just for bookeeping for taxes. By the way I think the price for the basic bronze support level of Redwings Centerpoint is 395/year.
