Had a 4650 start giving me dash problems one fall and noticed that turning lights on and off would jump voltage and all ok. Ran it for years like that. A 4850 I bought later acted up and I bought a new regulator that is on outside of alternator and cured that. That dash doesn’t like low voltage!
