Most of them have gotten hot a time or two....
I've seen them not shut off before. Worry about it when your done baling.
You can order new clutches and replace. Not a hard job takes about 30-1hr all said and done. Pretty basic job
Otherwise just pull it apart and look at them. It might have made them a little gummy. Might come out of it after some bales.
They do call for a certain amount of washers for spacers. But it never mentioned anything about messing with the numbers to change thickness in my book. Not saying you can't.
