 NW Iowa | If you are trying to get them to quit empty, it probably won't. With it empty and the door all the way open it will stop. Just doesn't have enough drag.
When you have a bale in the chamber the pickup and belts will quit after the door opens some. Just depends on how long the pressure to move. But it should stop with a bale started and pressure up on the outside guage, when you hit the button on and off.
There is a big bevelled heavy steel washer in the clutch assembly. If there is crap packed in there it won't release. If it was put together wrong it won't release either. They will also stick if its been smoked hard. Plug in the chamber and someone kept it running.
