Pesotum, IL | I’ve kinda lost track of where the models went after the TC/DX but, I’m assuming a Boomer 40 is going to be very comparable to the old TC/DX 40 models. There were several changes when the Farmall/Boomer models came out but most were cosmetic/controls and engine emissions related. I may be wrong on that and it’s a totally different tractor. They moved manufacturing from Georgia to Korea at some point and it may have been moved again. We run all 72” equipment on a DX40 but it appears the wheels could be moved in enough to accommodate 60” attachments. The 72” 3pt woods mower we have is a good match as well as the 72” bush hog tiller I just bought last month. Really love the tractor and don’t have any plans on replacing it. Just under 1300 hours on it now and it gets used more than we ever thought it would. About 1500 pounds is the lift capacity and you’re gonna want rear weight around 800. You lose a bit of capacity with pallet forks with the weight further away than the bucket. | |
