Texas | They called it the terminator gene. There was talk of it being brought back to help with the volunteer cotton problem. In cotton, we have Bayer coming out with Glytol cotton. It is interesting that Bayer came out with it last season and got regulatory approval late in the planting season. Bayer also has liberty link cotton and is/will be stacking it with their glytol cotton. Little information is out on the Glytol cotton other than it will be priced competitively with Monsanto's Roundup Ready Flex cotton. Glytol cotton will be in very limited supply this season. | |
