Fletcher, OH | You have a connection problem. The connectors the manufacturers use from the resistor pack to the blower motor are often undersized for the amperage they carry. They get hot and the metal in the female terminals softens and loosens its grip on the male side. Then they start to burn and generate carbon.
Take every connector apart between the resister board and the motor and inspect. You will find melted plastic in the plug body around the problem terminal. | |
