NE South Dakota Clark, SD | Glad you got it figured out. I had to watch it to see how it was done as I get asked occasionally by a Trimble guy how to do it. Very painful as I am used to about 7 clicks to bring in 1 or 2 meter lidar data for several sections if needed. I can see why Trimble has always discouraged lidar "because it is not accurate enough". Makes me very happy to be using a raster based software. You started out with 1/9th arc second or 3.4 meter or 10 foot resolution and then thinned it down to 20 ft. I can see it for general rough planning, but you lose most of your ditches, old fence lines and depressions that may affect you in the field. |
