Cloverland, Wa | Hello all. As the title suggests, I was able to get my Dads old D4 back yesterday. He bought it used in the spring of ‘69 and it was our main farm tractor until ‘85 when he bought a D4E.
This D4 is a late 7U equipped with factory direct electric starting, five roller track frames and an oil clutch. It’s also been fitted with a dry air cleaner, and a traxcavator seat tank. It’s got over 14,000 hrs and the engine has never been apart. I’d always kicked myself for selling it, but it’s home now. It’s hard to imagine doing all my farming with this old gal.
