Found a Cummins ECM pinout that doesn't say anything about pin 3, but it's pin 38. See attached.
The other diagram was from a Versatile troubleshooting manual, which I'd say is junk LOL. Take a look at your ECM, and see what you find on pin 38, and the rest of the power pins. My bet is it matches this chart, not the Versatile manual. The Versatile manual may not even apply to that tractor, but it lists the code. I have had better luck using the Cummins info over the years.
The OEM connector is the far right side of the picture. And yes, OEM is the Far LEFT connector on ECM
