If he is coming at night and stealing it. I would put water only Sign on the barrel.
Take a picture of it the day before.
You have a time stamped photo of water only on the barrel.
If the sign blows off . Then you had it labeled. Guy came and took from a barrow you had labeled. Not your fault he took water and put in his car.
